Homemade Beauty Tips to Make White Teeth

If you take too much of soda, coffee, tobacco, etc..  discoloration of tooth enamel could happen easily. Although people spend a lot of money on making their teeth a coveted, pearly white hue , there are some low-cost, natural remedies which could be useful to dissolve the stains. The solution could be in the pantry.
1. Strawberry and Baking Soda Scrub

Strawberries have a a large content of malic acid, which is regarded as a whitening agent to dissolve surface stains. Here  are two methods of application as follows

(1)Make a paste by crushing one strawberry in a small bowl and mix with 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Spread on teeth and leave for 5 minutes. Brush with toothpaste immediately after.

(2)Cut the fruit in half and use the inside to rub the berry’s juice onto your teeth. Brush with baking soda to buff the enamel’s surface. Rinse immediately and brush with toothpaste.

It is strongly suggested that you should brush and rinse as soon as possible after using the strawberries, for you could not leave the acid and natural sugar of the fruit on teeth too long. You could use this method sparingly, once a week at most, otherwise it could strip the enamel.

2.Lemon Juice and Salt Rinse

Lemon juice acts a whitening agent as same as strawberries; the acid dissolve stains on yellowing teeth to make them whiter. Although this rinse is less harsh than many of the drugstore whitening kits, you should be careful if you have sensitive teeth, because the heightened level of acidity could cause oral irritation. This rinse consists of three parts fresh lemon juice and one part salt. Swish for one minute. It is also recommended that you could add this mix to your toothpaste and brush as usual.

As with all acidic fruits, you could use these home remedies once a week. If you do not have proper cleansing after taking using such homemade treatments, the overexposure could damage teeth. As a result, natural enamel would be stripped, enhancing sensitivity, and the vitamin C contained in the strawberries and lemons could also cause the loss of calcium.
